POSITION AVAILABLE ST. CROIX CASINO HERTEL EXPRESS MAINTENANCE MANAGER ST.CROIX CASINO HERTEL CXoPRU POSITION OVERVIEW Primary responsibilityis to oversee the work of all maintenance personnel. Manager is expected to prioritize and schedule all work, set up training, provide training,evaluate employee performance, and maintain employee records. Secondary responsibilities are to monitor and maintain all building systems (Commercial: construction,plumbing, electrical, hydraulic refrigeration, communications,and HVAC).Manager ill decide all necessary repairs, order all parts/equipment, emergency repairs, and track all future repairs or work maintenance. MAINTENANCE MANGER DUTIES: Directly oversee maintenance personnel Schedule, develop, train/teach, and manage all maintenance personnel. Monitor/maintainall uilding systems effciently and safely. Decide llrepairs (including all emergencies). Track future maintenance of allystems upment Ensure all objectives are mplemented bythe maintenance staff Proactively improve processes,systems and technologies utilized. Uphold quality an safety standards for the department. Assess situations and provide excellent problem-solving abities Comply with safety policies and attend required safety training All other duties assigned. REQUIREMENTS Prior leadership experience. Exellent oral and written communicationskill, Excellent customer service skills. Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, Professional and detail oriented Self- motivated,responsible and organized for record keeping purposes Ability to multi-task projectsto ensure completion. Continue education, training, and knowledge of expanding technological improvements Must adhere to Policies and Procedures including but not limited to Confidentiality and Safety Rules and Regulations PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Reliable and flexible with commitments on or off property for immediate response to problems Schedule must be in conjunction with Casino needs. Ability to move quickly to problem areas Must be able to lift heavy items, bend, stoop, stretch, climb, stand, walk, and perform duties for a minimum of 8 hours. Tolerant of noisy and smoke-filldnvironments QUALIFICATIONS: Native American Preference. Gaming Industry Experience Preferred. Minimum of High School, G.E.D, or HSED education Preferred-3 years relevant experience in management. Preferred-technical education and training with specific expertise in the following areas: COMMERCIAL GRADE Electrical Cooling, Refrigeration, Control, Computers, Construction, Masonry Plumbing Hydraulics, Heating,Ventilation, Sound& Public Address.
